Carma Ceal Chaney Saunier, born March 26, 1974, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on September 9, 2025, at age 51. She was the beloved daughter of Connie Chaney and the late Larry Chaney.
Carma was married twice, first to Roy Day, with whom she had her first daughter, Morgan. She later married Tommy Saunier, and together they had three daughters, Skyler, Savannah, and later Mackenzie. She adored her grandchildren, Drew, Drake, Zeplin, Dash, and Zaxton (yet to be born), cherishing every moment with them. Carma is also survived by her siblings, Bobby and Tony Chaney, and her nephew, Daniel Chaney.
Carma grew up in Cement, Oklahoma, where she attended Cement High School until ninth grade. She was raised in the Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked as a caregiver, touching the lives of many through her kindness, dedication, and compassion.
Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She loved being a Nana and treasured her grandbabies above all else. Carma was a hard worker who took great pride in everything she did, whether in her career as a caregiver or in her home. She was fiercely independent, known for her strength, sense of humor, and free-spirited nature, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2025, at Pentecostal Holiness Church in Cement, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Cement Cemetery under the direction of Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Family will be present from 1:00 p.m. to 3p.m. on Sunday to greet friends and guests.
Carma will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, laughter, and the warmth she brought to her family and friends.
