RUTLAND TOWN- Carmella M. Knight, 81 years old of Rutland Town died Friday Oct 10, 2025 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born on July 16, 1944 Carmella was married for almost 62 years, lacking two days from Oct 12, 1963 to Oct 10, 2025.
She is survived by her husband Robert, a daughter Michele Knight Chamberlain and her husband Alan of Swanzy, NH, a son Robert F. Knight Jr. and his wife Brandy of Rutland Town, 2 grandsons Robert F. Knight III. of Burlington and Tyler Knight and Andrea Noble of Wells, 2 step granddaughters Amanda Chamberlain and Andra Nieves, a great granddaughters Skylar M. Knight also of Wells, a special friend Rosebud her dog, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, 3 sisters Rosemarie Carter Travers of Hydeville, Emma Jean Turco of Whitehall, NY, and Becky King of North Clarendon, 3 brothers Ronald King of Rutland, Wayne King of West Rutland and Dale King of Brandon.
Per her wishes there will be no calling hours.
Graveside services will be held 4pm Thursday Oct 16, 2025 at the Cheney Hill Cemetery in Rutland Town.
Arrangements are with the Aldous Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses of the Rutland Regional Medical Center and the Pines also the VNA and Regional Ambulance Service for all there help and Kindness.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,, P. O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929
