Tammie L Hathaway age 61, of Rutland Vt died Oct 3, 2025 at Dartmouth Hitchcock following a brief illness.
She was born in Stafford Springs Connecticut on June 12, 1964 to Edward and Linda (Hyland) Lewis.
Tammie attended Rutland High School.
She married Romain Almon Hathaway Sr on April 12, 1986. She had two daughters Amanda and Stephanie Hathaway.
She was employed by the Pines of Rutland for over 25 years as a LNA.
She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband. Traveling and time with her grandchildren and her precious bulldog DJ.
Survivors include her daughters Amanda Hathaway and Stephanie (Hathaway) Bishop of Rutland and son in law Dylan Bishop Sr. Step sons Romain Hathaway Jr of Burlington VT Matthew Hathaway Sr of Rutland VT. Brothers Gary Lewis of Fair Haven. Sonny Lewis and Sarah Lewis of Rutland Vt. Six grandchildren Matthew Hathaway Jr of Newport VT, Camden Hathaway, Bobby Grady, Dylan Bishop Jr, Arianna Bishop, Savannah Bishop all of Rutland Vermont.
She is predeceased by her husband of 31 years Romain Hathaway Sr, her parents Edward and Linda Lewis two brothers Eddy Lewis and Lance Lewis. Her son in law Robert Grady.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are with the Aldous Funeral Home.
