Carmen's journey began as the beloved daughter of her parents Harmon and Esther Nelson and a loving sister to Darryl Nelson and Lynda Rich. Her heart found the love of her live with her husband of 59 years, David Cavaness, with whom she built a family that was her pride and joy. Carmen's legacy continues through her children, Brian Cavaness and Danielle Mathews, and her son-in-law Billy. She was a beacon of love and guidance for her grandchildren, Ivy Cavaness, Megan Anderson, Kirkland Mathews and his wife, Jessica, Kyle Mathews and his wife, Autumn, Willow Cavaness, Sydney Mathews, and two great-grandchildren, Nova Mathews and Luna Mathews cherishing every moment spent with them.
