Carmen Flecha went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 18, 2025, at age 84.
Maria Del Carmen, lovingly known as Carmen, was born to Flór Lopez Berriós and Manuela Lopez Laó on December 22, 1940 in Pasto Viejo (Humacao), Puerto Rico. Carmen met her husband, Hector M. Flecha, in Junquito, Puerto Rico. They married on June 4, 1964, and went on to have 5 children, Hector (Migdalia) Flecha, Carlos (Marisol) Flecha, Mayra (Noel) Reyes, Angel (Danyxa) Flecha, and Iris (Victor) Beltran. Carmen and Hector are blessed with 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren who are their pride and joy.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Carmen also loved attending church, cooking, and spending time with family. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.
Carmen joins her parents, and siblings Milagro, Isabel, Lydia, and Ramón Lopez in Heaven, along with her beloved nephews Gilbert Lopez, Richard Lopez and Jonathon Diaz Torres, her great niece Niellys Sanchez, and her great grandchild. She is survived by her sisters Cristina, Benita, Dominga, and Amparo Lopez.
