Carmine P. DiSibio, a cherished member of the San Jose community and beloved family man, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025, in Surprise, Arizona, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Born on September 1, 1940, in San Jose, California, Carmine lived a full and vibrant life, one characterized by creativity, curiosity, and a deep love for his family.

Carmine received his education at Andrew P. Hill High School and San Jose High School, where he began to cultivate the interests that would follow him throughout his life. He spent much of his formative years in the "Seven Trees" neighborhood of San Jose, where he built a life rich with memories, friendships, and pursuits that brought him joy.

During his service in the United States Navy during the early Vietnam era, Carmine developed a strong sense of duty and camaraderie that would stay with him long after his military days. After returning home, he became known for his hands-on approach to life, always working on various projects around the house. His creativity was only matched by his curiosity about the world, driving him to explore and engage with everything around him.

Carmine’s love for animals was evident in his affection for his beloved dog, Bella, a toy poodle, as well as his schnauzer, Nicky, and his cat named Magic. These companions brought him comfort and joy throughout his life.

A dedicated family man, Carmine is survived by his loving wife, Anne Piscatelli, and his children, Rodney DiSibio (Michelle), Leonard DiSibio, and Debbie DiSibio. He took immense pride in his grandchildren: Kimberly, Nicole, Lareena,Taylor, Tanner and Eric as well as his great-grandchildren: Jayden, Noah, Alyssa, and numerous nieces and nephews. His family was his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Among his proudest accomplishments were his significant contributions to the community through sports. He coached the Spartans Little League for 20 years and embraced the opportunity to coach PAL football in the early 1980s, touching the lives of countless young athletes with his passion and guidance.

Carmine had a zest for life that was reflected in his numerous hobbies and interests. He enjoyed visiting the Desert Diamond Casino, savoring Italian food, particularly menudo, and eagerly gathering at Tony DiMaggio's Pizza in San Jose. His favorite colors, red and blue, mirrored his vibrant personality, bringing warmth and cheer to those fortunate enough to know him.

He joins in eternal rest his first wife, Joan Ruth Disibio, along with his half-sisters Ida, Norma, Mildred, and Shirley, his brothers Johnny and Melvine, and his parents, Carmen and Eura, who have all left a lasting imprint on his heart.

Carmine P. DiSibio will be remembered for his creative spirit, loving nature, and the indelible legacy he leaves behind. His family and friends will carry his memory with them, honoring the life of a man who dedicated himself to those he loved and the community he so deeply valued.
