Carmine is survived by his parents, Valerie Rogers, Jayson Rivera, sister, Nicole Rivera, brothers, Vincent Richards, Jaydrian Rivera, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. Interment will follow in the Confederate Cemetery.

Carmine was a close friend of my son, Ryan. He brought such joy to my home when he came over to shoot hoops, just hang out, or go swimming. The boys went to basketball camp together this past summer and we road-tripped it to waterparks. Carmine was like family to us, and we loved him like he was one of us. I thought so highly of him. He was polite, had a captivating smile, made me laugh, and was so thougtful. He worked hard, and was a great kid. Most of all, he was a great friend to my son. We will miss him dearly. Fly high, Carmine. We will see you in Heaven one day, kid. Until then, "break them ankles, toss the rock, drop those dimes, and lock em up!"

Carmine, titi was not ready for you to leave but I know you are dancing with Jesus now. My most favorite memory is when we came together as family and I got to hug and love on him. He was such a funny, bright kid with a promising future. We planned coming for more summers and do many fun things. Carmine loves the beach and that was one of his happy places. We made sure we went there every time he visited. I love you CJ, spread your wings and fly!
