Carol Ann Arno, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 11, 2025, in
Spokane, Washington. Born on June 20, 1954, in Butte, Montana, she was the youngest child of Richard and Arvilla Arno. Carol spent her formative years in Watsonville, California, where her free-spirited nature came to fruition.
Carol is survived by her siblings, Gary Arno and Terri Mullis, her children Naomi, Zackariah, Peter, Adom, and April, as well as her 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, whom she looked upon with pride. She was preceded in death by her daughter RuthAnn and grandson Johnathan, whose memories she held dear in her heart.
Carol was known for her sensitive nature and her enthusiasm for whatever opportunities life might bring. Her journey was a tapestry woven with both highs and lows, each experience shaping her into the person she was. Carol had a thirst for adventure, often dreaming of travel and the great outdoors. Whether it was camping in the mountains or kayaking on the water, she found solace and healing in nature, spending countless summers basking in the sun's healing embrace.
In her final days, Carol expressed a heartfelt wish for her children to come together, supporting one another through their grief. Her legacy of love, and resilience will continue to amaze those who knew her.
Carol's remains will be returned to the earth at a later date, where her children will gather to share stories, laughter, and memories of the complicated and unforgettable woman who brought them into this world and touched their lives in a way no other could.
