Carol A. Ault, 75, of Cavalier, ND, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, at her home. Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bathgate Presbyterian Church, Bathgate, ND. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Carol was born December 9, 1949, in Walhalla, ND, to Hilliard and Cecelia (Compeau) Storey. She grew up in the Walhalla area. After school she worked at the Hoople Café where she met her future husband, Ken Ault. They got engaged on April Fools Day 1966, and got married on May 20, 1967, at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Walhalla. Together Ken and Carol were blessed with four children: Julie, Jamie, Kevin, and Ryan.
Carol enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, baking, crocheting and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her children: Julie (Kirk) Morrison, Neche, ND; Jamie Ault and Kevin (Laura) Ault, all of Cavalier, ND; Ryan (Erin) Ault, Wallace, ID; grandchildren: Olivia, Veronica, Zachary Ault; Kenrik Morrison; Abby, Johnny, Aiden, and Mila; sister: Marilyn (Kevin) Shephard; sisters-in-law: Sherry (Russell) Hannesson, Mary Moore and Linda Storey; brother-in-law, Jack Carignan; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ken; parents; sister, Theresa Carignan and brother, Garnet Storey.
