Carol Lynn "Carrie" Bacon

Carol "Carrie" Lynn (Wylazlowski) Bacon, age 77, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at Boston Medical Center on Thursday, February 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Bacon with whom she enjoyed 42 years of marriage until his passing in 2015.
She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on March 30, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Stanley Z. and Beulah M. (Rincker) Wylazlowski.
Carrie was raised in Roselle, New Jersey and was a graduate of Abraham Clark High School. She continued her education at Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey where she earned her bachelor's degree in microbiology. She worked in various hospitals in New Jersey before moving to Massachusetts with a friend seeking adventure. She met her beloved husband on a ski trip and made Chelmsford her home. Together they enjoyed traveling and taking cruises. She continued working in various hospitals until her retirement. In her spare time, Carrie enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Chelmsford Garden Club.
Carrie leaves her siblings, Diane Wylazlowski, Linda Kowalski and her husband Peter, and Janice Wylazlowski; her nephews Christopher Kupchak, Douglas Gomez, Gregory Kupchak, and her niece Amber Gomez.
Sadly, she was predeceased by her brother Stanley Wylazlowski.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. A brief prayer service will be held at 3:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.
