Yvette Tousignant

Yvette (Dunn) Tousignant, 89, of Madbury, NH formerly of Milton, NH and Lowell, MA died early Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Carriage Hill Assisted Living in Madbury, NH.

She was the wife of the late Philip D. Tousignant who died July 6, 2024, and with whom she celebrated their 68th anniversary on May 5th 2024.

Born in Lowell on December 10, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Lillian (Perigny) Dunn. A resident of Lowell for 65 years, she was educated at St. Louis Academy. Yvette worked at Merrimack Education Center (MEC) in Billerica, MA for over 25 years. After raising their family in Lowell, Yvette and her husband Phil moved to Milton, NH in 1999. Following the loss of her son, Philip, Yvette volunteered at Victims Inc. in Rochester, NH. She also volunteered at Gerry's Food Pantry in Rochester, NH.

She was a very active member and communicant of Ste. Marie's Church at Holy Family Parish in Lowell. She served as a Eucharistic and Lecture minister and was also a member of St. Anne's Sodality.

Yvette is survived by three daughters, Sue Anne Henning and her husband, Harald of East Lyme, CT, Lisa Marie Warrington and her husband Wesley of Altamonte Springs, FL and Jane Yvette Dobbie and her husband, William of Epping, NH; a son, David Tousignant of Lowell, MA; a sister, Claudia Russell of Haverhill, MA; a brother, William Dunn and his wife Marie of Lowell, MA; a brother-in-law, Roger Chartrand of Lowell, MA; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews; and scores of treasured friends.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Philip R. Tousignant who died Sept. 30, 2004 and her cherished sister Bernadette Chartrand. A woman of unshakeable faith, Yvette was known for her remarkable capacity for love, compassion, and kindness toward all.

Yvette's visiting hours are Fri., Aug. 8, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral Sat., Aug. 9, 2025 at 10am from the funeral home with a funeral Mass at 11am at St. Marie's Church at Holy Family Parish, 90 Chamberlain St. Lowell, MA.
