Donald P. "Don" Tousignant, age 80, a resident of Warrenville, IL since 1970, formerly of Naperville, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Endeavor Health Edward Hospital in Naperville. He was born on November 23, 1944, in Woonsocket, RI.
Beloved husband of Arlene Tousignant (nee Daley), whom he married October 16, 1965, loving father of Pamela (D.J.) Orbell of Plainfield, IL, Sally DuPont of Oconomowoc, WI and David Tousignant of Aurora, IL, adored grandfather of Matthew (fiancée, Natalia Francisco) Orbell and Michael Orbell; Nathan and Gabriel DuPont, devoted son of the late Raoul and Colombe (nee Rainville) Tousignant, fond brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.
Don grew up in Woonsocket, RI, attended Mount Saint Charles Academy and was a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. A design draftsman, Don was employed for many years by Argonne National Laboratory, Lemont, IL and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, in Batavia, IL, Don enjoyed hockey and was a fan of the Green Bay Packers.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540.
Future inurnment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
