Thomas James Tevlin, age 76, a resident of Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully at St Luke's Cornwall Hospital, New York on Thursday, July 31, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Judy H. (Montoya) Tevlin with whom he enjoyed 53 years of marriage.

He was born in Lowell on May 30, 1949, and was the son of the late Thomas J. Tevlin and June K. Tevlin (Weaver).

Thomas was raised and lived in Chelmsford till he retired and eventually moved to Leesburg, Florida full time. He owned Tevlin Construction for over 15 years. While working at Raytheon for over 25 years he enhanced his career by attending Eastern Nazarene and obtaining a Bachelor's Degree and retiring in 2009. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing at Mt Pleasant GC and the Elks where he had many friends over the years. When he retired, he spent a majority of his time golfing or in his woodworking shop making toys for the grandchildren, tables, shelves and cell phones. Wherever he went he would be surrounded by family and friends as he always had a few good jokes or stories to share.

In addition to his loving wife Judy, Thomas is survived by his children Jennifer and her husband Robert Busa of Waltham, and Mathew Tevlin of Hudson; his grandchildren Leon (LJ) and his wife Lexi Van Molle, Daniel and Lisi Tevlin; his sisters Kathy Owens, Suzanne O'Reilly, and Marylou and her husband Robert Haas; his brother-in-law David Montoya and many nieces, nephews and friends.
