Carol May Blackinton, 80, of Judy Terrace, West Warwick, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at HopeHealth Hospice Center in Providence.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie (Coulthurst) Irons.

After graduating from Mount Pleasant High School, Carol attended Bryant College and went on to dedicate over 40 years to her career as an optician in Rhode Island.

A devoted member of St. David's on-the-Hill Episcopal Church in Cranston for nearly 60 years, Carol's faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her many acts of kindness and service reflected her deep compassion and unwavering belief in helping others.
