Beverley L. (Brown) Gallagher, age 89, died peacefully on July 22nd. She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert W. Jr. in 2020 and her son Michael Downey in 2016. She is survived by her sons Bryan Downey and Dean Gallagher and her daughter in law Stefani Gallagher. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Logan Downey, Kristin (Gallagher) Pic (Andrew Pic), and Steven Gallagher, and three great grandchildren Jack and Logan Downey Jr. and Mason Pic.

Beverley was born in Providence, RI to Myrtle E. (Hudson) Brown and Forest N. Brown Jr., and was the sister of Forest N. Brown III. She graduated Aldrich High School and attend CRRI to receiver her associates degree in Business and Computer Science. She worked for Welcome Wagon International while her sons were growing up and later worked for the RI Yacht Club as an office manager for 25 years. After she retired, she also worked for the Chow Fun Food Group for 10+ years.

Beverley enjoyed bowling, but playing cards was her favorite. She was treasure of the Shrine Ladies activities for over 20 years. She went on many Shrine trips and cruises with her husband, Biff, a past Potentate of the RI Shriners.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. A funeral service celebrating Beverley's life will take place on Monday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
