Carol Chambers Obituary
She was born on August 19, 1937 in Moundsville, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Simonoski) Key. Carol was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and retired after over 20 years at Moundview Nursing Home. She was an avid reader.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Terry Chambers (1997); a son-in-law Craig Madden and nine siblings, Stanley Key, Stephen Key, Chester Key, Edward Key, Jenny Yocum, Helen Oakland, Alice Diaz, Marie Lohri and Joanne Key.
Carol is survived by her three children, Melanie Madden, Michele (Matthew) McCool and Tom (Tammy Henry) Chambers all of Moundsville; four grandchildren, Chelsea Madden, Zane (Erika) Madden, Cullen Madden and Lindsey (Ryan) Bratton; one great-grandchild, Declan Madden; one brother, Anthony (Barbara) Key of Wheeling; one sister-in-law, Coleen Morris and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, April 29, at 10 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. That Son Ngoc Nguyen officiating. Interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery.
