Carol Chillock, 83, formerly of Lindenwold , New Jersey, passed away on Monday, August 18th, at Serenity Care Kingston.

Carol was born in Wilkes-Barre, on September 25th, 1941, daughter of the late Edward and Victoria Chillock.

She was a graduate of Luzerne High School and attended Wilkes-College.

Carol worked in the medical field her entire career including at the Hershey Medical Center and hospitals in New Jersey.

Carol was a lifelong advocate to the well being of cats along with all animals. She nurtured, saved and adopted countless stray cats throughout her lifetime. She is now reunited with all of her beloved cat family whom she loved so dearly. Carol who was forever known as "Auntie Carol" was a loving and caring aunt to both her nephews and her niece and will be greatly missed.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Victoria Chillock, her sister Christine Phillips, her nephew, Attorney Bruce Phillips and many, many beloved cats.

Carol is survived by her Brother-In Law, Jim Phillips, Forty Fort; nephew John Phillips and his partner Liz Revit, Kingston, Pa and niece Katharyn Phillips Elms and her husband Neil, Great Barrington, Mass. She also leaves behind several cousins and dear friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Serenity Care of Kingston namely the Memory Care Unit for their care and compassion shown to Carol over the last several years.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hugh B. Hughes & Son, Inc., Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a cat rescue of the donor's choice.
