Carol Kay Chochard, age 80, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on January 30, 2025. She was born on June 13, 1944, in Circleville, Ohio. Carol was a beloved collection agent at Fiserv, where she thrived and loved her job. She was also very proud of her educational achievement, having graduated with a GED.
Carol had a vibrant personality and was known for her love of games and cooking. As a foodie, she enjoyed exploring new culinary experiences and was a good cook. Shopping and traveling were also among her favorite pastimes, and she had a special fondness for the ocean and beaches.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth P. Chochard, daughter Chrystal Leigh, son Aaron Paul (Kelli), grandchildren; Jessica (Steve), Matthew, Albert (Kelly), Karley (Jordan) and seven great-grandchildren.
Carol is preceded in death by her mother, Leona (Ray) Pauline Rodgers, father, Howard Rodgers, and her son, Rodger Allen.
A memorial gathering will be held on February 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. This will be followed by a memorial service from 6:00 PM at the same location.
Carol’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
