Carol Ann DallugeOctober 26, 1949 – April 29, 2025
Carol Ann Dalluge, passed away the afternoon of April 29th at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO surrounded by her wife and dear friends.
Carol Ann was born in Fergus Falls MN on October 26, 1949 to parents Caroll and Mary Lou (Simon) Dalluge. She graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1967.
After graduating high school, Carol Ann traveled the U.S., holding various jobs until settling in Colorado. She met Helbis Varangot in 2000 and they have been together since then. Carol Ann and Helbis made their home in Wheat Ridge, CO and married in a beautiful ceremony on April 17, 2021.
Carol Ann enjoyed planning road trips, near and far, taking the time to research fun, new travel routes and visiting the mountains. She loved Colorado, especially the Rocky Mountain National Park which she visited every year. Carol Ann loved her African Violets, the many birds she fed every day, and had a special fondness for all wildlife. She was an avid football and baseball fan but enjoyed most sports, even curling (except soccer). She also loved returning home to MN the past several years to spend time with family and friends. Carol Ann was known to spend time at their local bingo hall, winning big on many occasions. She was witty, funny, opinionated, loving and a life-long friend to many.
Carol Ann is survived by her loving wife, Helbis; their "furry kids", Sammy and Simon; sisters, Debbie (Jim) Hoard of Detroit Lakes MN, Melanie (Jim) Hoffmann of Vergas MN, Becky (Steve) Carreira of Lewis Center OH, and Rachael (Roger) Svendsgaard of Fergus Falls MN; sister-in-law, Bernice Dalluge-Korkowski of Millerville MN; step-son, Kourosh Sean Parvin of Centennial CO; several nieces and nephews; many great nieces and great nephews; uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by both parents, brothers Evan and Paul and sister-in-law, Dee Dalluge.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers you consider a donation to Samaritan's Purse.
