Mike Dalluge

Michael Al Dalluge, of Mundelein, known affectionately as Mike to his friends and family, passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 61 in Libertyville, Illinois. Mike was a man of integrity and a deep sense of duty, characteristics that defined his life from his youth to his final days.
A proud veteran, Mike retired from the United States Navy after 25 years of honorable service. His career as a photographer took him to various corners of the world, including Norfolk, VA, Pensacola, FL, Yokosuka, Japan, Barbers Point, HI, San Diego, CA, and Evanston, IL. Through his lens, he not only documented significant moments in naval history but also captured the everyday life and spirit of the service members with whom he served. His dedication earned him the respect and admiration of his peers and the gratitude of a nation he served with distinction.
Those who knew Mike understood his love for the outdoors. Whether tending to his garden or fishing, they offered him moments of quiet reflection and a connection to the natural world he so deeply appreciated.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Kim; his cherished children Kyle and Jessica (James); and his adoring brother Matthew (Erin). He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Noel.
As the sun sets on Mike's final chapter, we reflect on a life well-lived, a journey marked by courage and an unwavering sense of purpose.
In honor of Mike's memory, we look to the skies he once photographed, to the gardens he nurtured, and to the waters he so loved to fish, and we take comfort in knowing that his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. Though Mike may have set sail on his final voyage, his memory will remain an anchor for all who knew and loved him.
