Carol Davies Obituary

Carol Davies, age 77, loving mother of four, adoring grandmother of eight, proud great-grandmother of seven, and honorary mother to countless others, passed away in the early hours of October 23rd after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
Carol was born on October 15, 1948, in Cumberland to Hilda Ziler, along with her two sisters, Donna (Dete) and Patti. Early in life she married Gary "Randy" Lambert, Sr. After the passing of her first husband, she met George Davies in the early 1980s, and the two decided to settle down together with her four children: Randy, Tina, Tonya, and Stephanie and his three daughters; Denise, Karyn, and Amy. They made a home out of a red brick house on Frederick Street; a place many who grew up in the Cumberland area would grow to call their second home. This was because Carol's true calling was that of a caregiver, both as a career and in her personal life. Many entered the doors of her home on Frederick Street, and all of them left forever impacted by Carol and the love she had to give.
Carol is preceded in death by her mother, Hilda; her sisters, Donna and Patti; her husbands, Randy Sr. and George; her ornery canine companion, Pookah; and her beloved aunt Francis.
Carol is survived by her children, Randy (wife Melissa), Tonya (husband Larry), Tina (husband Tracey), and Stephanie (husband David); her grandchildren, Brittany,(husband Eric) Laken (husband Clay) Taylor (Austin), Justin (wife Rachel) David, Dalton, Graycie, Dallas, and Bella; her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Brooklyn, Logan, Brystol, Jayden, Dominick, and Josie; her dear friend Jeannie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol lived a life full of love, laughter, and memories that will last forever.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
