Lester Thomas "Les" Richardson II

Artemas, PA – Lester "Les" Thomas Richardson, II, 77, of Artemas, PA, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at his home.
Born July 12, 1948, in Laurel, MD, Mr. Richardson was the son of the late Lester Thomas Richardson, and Ellen May (Yoder) Richardson. He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law: Randle Beckford.
Les was a U.S. Navy Veteran with three years in active duty and six years in the Reserves. He was Cursillo member, and had a Catholic Ministry at Huntington prison. Les enjoyed antique jewelry and decorative eggs. He was also a pencil artist.
Les is survived by his wife of 57 years: JoAnne Richardson; his daughter: Leslie Jo Beckford; his sons: Jason Richardson and wife, Mara; and Jeffery Richardson and wife, Kristy; his six grandchildren; his four great-grandchildren; his sister: Bonnie Mullin; and his brother: John Richardson.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Dan Gibbony officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Christian Cemetery.
