Carol Drozdick Obituary

****update*** With the recent passing of Alex Drozdick Jr., A memorial service will be held for both Carol and her late husband Alex on Saturday at 10:30am in the Corey Brian Strauch Funeral Home, 602 Birch Street, Scranton, PA 18505. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:15 in the funeral home.
Carol Ann Drozdick, 69, of Jefferson Twp., passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at home. She is the wife of Alexander Drozdick Jr. The couple was married 49 years.
Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Rupp Dippre. She worked at Universal Printing for several years. She enjoyed going to work every day and made lifelong friendships, which she cherished dearly.
Carol enjoyed frequent dates to the casino followed by dinner with her loving husband. She lived for going on family trips to the beach, visiting Hershey Park during Christmastime, hosting her annual family picnics, and attending sister weekend. She loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events that she never missed, always there to support them. She took a great deal of pride in her own personal "oasis" and enjoyed spending time relaxing in her pool with her family. She would go above and beyond for anyone who she loved and was a one-of-a-kind soul. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed terribly by all who had the pleasure to know and love her. She will be always loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her sons, Jason Drozdick and wife, Shelby, and Alex Drozdick III; daughters, Michelle Yanochik and Dawn Wisneski; sisters, Dorothy Gashler and husband, Al, Ruth Pipitone and husband, Steve, Sharon Evans, and Sandy Dippre; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Dippre and infant brother, Robert.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all of her family at Universal Printing for their continued support throughout this difficult time.
A celebration of life will be held and announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Corey Brian Strauch Funeral Home, Scranton. Offer Condolence for the family of Carol Ann Drozdick
