Carol Engstrom Obituary
Carol Jean Engstrom, 77, of Marion, Texas passed away on December 2, 2025.
Carol was born on October 11, 1948 to parents, Hugo and Helna Schulz. She graduated from Marion High School and later met and married her husband of 33 years, Mark Engstrom. Carol had many hobbies, including gardening, baking, motorcycle adventures, and dancing. Babysitting her great, great nephews, Lane and Wyatt, brought her much joy. She was also a long-time member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Ladies Guild.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Mark Engstrom; her son, Kurt Macek of Austin, TX; brother Jim Schulz & wife Glenda; Sister in law June Buss & husband Ken. She was Favorite Aunt Carol (FAC) to numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Helna; and her sister, Betty.
Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marion with Visitation beginning at 5:00 PM, Thursday, December 11th with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12 at 10:30 AM, followed by a lunch reception in the church hall.
