Carol Ann Haddock, age 65, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Carol was born in Manchester, TN to her parents, Dewey and Flora Lester. She spent her early years on the family farm in Fredonia and graduated from Coffee County High School. Carol also attended the Fredonia Church of Christ.
Carol proudly and lovingly cared for our nation's veterans as a Nursing Assistant at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro. She retired in 2020 after 30 years of service, then began her second career as an administrative professional in the office of Dr. Dinesh Gupta in Tullahoma, TN. Carol was an avid Tennessee Titans fan who loved to spend her Sunday afternoons watching the Titans play. She loved being outside and could often be found taking in the sunshine and fresh air from her front porch or favorite backyard swing.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Dewey R. Lester. Carol is survived by her husband of 42 years, Tim Haddock; daughter, Joyce Teal Reed (James); mother, Flora Lester; brother, John Michael Lester (Pam); sister, Karen Lester (Michael Davis); mother-in-law, Frances Haddock; brothers-in-law, David Haddock and Mark Haddock; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Manchester Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm with graveside services to be conducted afterwards at the Fredonia Cemetery.
