Carol Ann Hanson

Carol Hanson, age 69, of Brookfield, passed away, Thursday, October 6, 2022, at her home.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held at a later date.

Carol Ann, daughter of Jay P. and Pauline M. (Harris) Baldwin, was born, January 31, 1953, in Boone County.
Carol had worked various jobs throughout the years but dedicated herself to being a mom. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Carol also loved listening to The Moody Blues, watching a good western, and reading mystery novels.
For Carol, family was first, but she also enjoyed her time by herself with a good cigarette and a cold glass of Diet Dr. Pepper.
Survivors include her children; Ray Baldwin and wife, Tanya of the home, Jenny Hanson of Farmington, and Paul Hanson of Bucklin; four grandchildren, Tiffani Baldwin of Bucklin, Rylee Baldwin of Springfield, Alexander Baldwin of the home, and Gage Hanson of Milan; three great-grandchildren, Nikolas, Seth, and Addalynn Hulett of Bucklin; three siblings, Steven Baldwin of Columbia, Vicki Locke of Kirksville, and Gloria Hamilton of Kirksville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
