Carol Hazlett Obituary
Carol Lynn Hazlett, 88, of Derry, passed peacefully at Independence Health System - Latrobe Hospital, in the presence of family, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister; and her husband, Jack Hazlett. She had six children, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was protestant by faith, and had a strong belief in God which she passed on to everyone she met. She was dearly loved by her family. A private Christian funeral service and burial were held. The family wishes to thank Latrobe Hospital’s 3rd floor nursing staff and doctors, 6th floor nurses and the in-house hospice team for their amazing kindness and deeply compassionate care.
