Mrs. Carol Jane Hickerson of Linden, TN passed away on Thursday, August 14th, 2025, at the Perry Co. Nursing Home. She was born in Lobelville, TN, Jan 16th,1952 to the late Austin Ray and Golden May Edney. She graduated from Perry County High School in 1970. Following graduation, she immediately joined the workforce doing factory work. She would later graduate from Columbia State as registered nurse. She would go on to enjoy this profession for nearly 20 years, where she began as a home health nurse before finishing her career as a charge nurse at the Perry County Hospital. She married Randy Cleo Hickerson, May 23, 1998, who survives in the home.

She enjoyed cooking, spending time with friends, road trips, but more importantly she relished being a faithful member of the Linden Church of Christ, a loving mother and wife, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is also survived by 1 daughter, Carol (Andy) Ulmer, 1 son, Eric (Bethany Dabbs) Hickerson, 3 Grandsons, Logan Hickerson, Owen Hickerson and Charlie Ulmer, also 2 Granddaughters, Elizabeth (Tyler) Hinson and Ellie Ulmer, 2 great granddaughters, Hattie Beth and Harper Mae Hinson, 1 Stepdaughter Cassie Seiber and 1 step granddaughter, Shelby Seiber, a sister Cynthia (Larry) Nix all of Linden and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
