Carol Ann Josephson, 79, of Plainville, MA and Bradenton, FL passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at her home in Plainville. She was the wife of Robert Josephson to whom she was married to for 56 years.
Born August 24, 1941 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther McLaughlin.
Carol grew up in Wellesley, MA and was a graduate of Wellesley High School. She loved the beach and spent many summers with her parents and sisters in Marshfield, MA.
Carol worked as a secretary for Raytheon Company in Newton, as well as Itek Corporation in Bedford, MA and the Foxboro Company in Foxboro, MA.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and card making, but her passion was raising and showing dogs (Boxers). She was a member of the Rhode Island Boxer Club, The Middlesex Boxer Club, and the American Boxer Club.
In recent years, she loved spending time with her friends at Horseshoe Cove in Bradenton, FL.
In addition to her husband, Robert, Carol is survived by her son Eric and his wife Taylor (Scott) Josephson of Bellingham, MA; her grandsons: Eric Josephson, Jr., Ethan Josephson, and Evan Josephson. She is also survived by her sisters Sandra Walker and her husband Neal of Concord, MA and Janice Gonzalez and her husband Moche of Bonita Springs, FL.
She was predeceased by her oldest son Robert Josephson, Jr.
An interment for Carol and her son Robert, Jr. will be held in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carol's name to Parkinson Place, 5969 Cattleridge Blvd., Suite 100, Sarasoto, FL 34232
