Carol Ann Keller
78, of Casco Township, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her children.
She was born January 4, 1943, in Casco Township, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Frances (Zech) Wagner.
Her marriage to Gerald Francis Keller was June 11, 1966. Gerald passed away December 21, 1984.
Carol was a Registered Nurse for 45 years. She was an active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ira Township, and was a part of the church choir. She was a big Michigan State sports fan, enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events. She loved playing cards, bingo, polka festivals, cutting the grass and tending to her flower beds and traveling. It brought Carol much joy watching her son working the family farm.
Surviving are seven children and spouses, Jean (Terry) Chaffee of Hartland, Theresa (John) Selleck of Fenton, Karen (Mark) Savoie of Columbus, Kristine Malinowski of Casco, Janice O'Neal of Lenox, and Sandra (Dave) Vermilyea of Kernersville, NC, Gerald II (Renee) Keller of Casco; 14 grandchildren, Jonathan, Sean, Nicholas, Branden, Cameron, Jordan, Keenan, Ryan, Grace, Mitchell, Cole, Lillian, Theresa, and Viviana; five sisters, Janet, Dorothy, Joyce, Catherine, and Rosemary; one brother, Arthur, as well as one brother-in-law, three sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Erin Chaffee, a son-in-law, Michael Malinowski, and a sister, Christine Szymanski.
The family honors the memory of Carol and invites you to visit and share memories Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with rosary devotion/scripture services at 6:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ira Township, with 9:30 a.m. visiting. Fr. Joe Horn will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond.
Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
