Clifford Beier, Age 78, of Richmond passed away on October 1, 2025.
He was born on June 20, 1947 in Mt. Clemens to the late Norwood and Sylvia Beier.
From a young age, Clifford had a deep love for art - whether drawing, painting, or simply admiring the beauty of the world around him. He also held a great appreciation for local history, especially that of his beloved hometown of Richmond.
A true family man, Clifford was deeply involved in the lives of his nieces and nephews, always offering encouragement, laughter, and love. His compassion extended to animals as well - he was a passionate supporter of animal rights and cared deeply for all living creatures.
Clifford's faith was central to his life. Baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Lutheran Church, he remained a faithful member his entire life and rarely missed a Sunday service. His quiet strength, gentle nature, and devotion to others were a reflection of his deep spiritual life.
Clifford will be remembered for his kind heart, his generous spirit, and the way he made everyone feel welcome. He leaves behind family, friends, and a community grateful for the love and joy he shared.
He is survived by his sister Pamela Welsh and his niece and nephews, Arianna, Tom IV, Erin, and Tory and great-grandniece, Delaney.
He was preceded in death by his loving dog, Mabel and brother-in-law Thomas Welsh.
The family honors the memory of Clifford and invites you to visit and share memories Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 9:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm at Kaatz Funeral Directors. Rev. Mark Haller, pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to "Humane Society of Macomb".
