Carol Yvonne Lindquist, age 89, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025. Born on August 7, 1935, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Carol was a cherished daughter of the late Gilbert and Vera Burdick. Her warm smile and gentle spirit touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her, and her legacy will forever remain in the lives she enriched.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Lindquist and brother, Bill Burdick.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Lisa (Tony) Capatosto, Genese (Troy) Launay, Jill (Jamie) Arnold, Erick (Kim Ostrowski) Lindquist. Grandchildren: Joe, Lauren, Marisa, Curtis, Justin, Jordan, Joshua, Carolina, Brayden, Brinnley. Great grandchildren: Rylynn, Ren, Lincoln. Siblings: Gwen Muermann, Gary Burdick, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Carol loved her family. She really enjoyed visiting lighthouses, tending to her flowers, and spending time at the lake listening to the loons. Carol loved to travel and "be on the go." She and Dick were avid bird watchers, polka dancers and mall walkers. Carol truly loved her card club friends and the Show Stoppers at the Senior Center. She also loved to read and play word puzzles.
She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, Carol's favorite charities were Life Alliance, Wounded Warriors, and St. Jude’s's.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123 for Calling Hours from 2pm - 4pm with a Memorial Service starting at 4pm.
An inurnment for Carol and Dick will take place on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 11:30am.
