Carol Miller Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 8, 2025.
Carol Jane Miller, age 77, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at Marion Pointe surrounded by the love of her family.
On April 12, 1948 Carol was born in Hicksville, Ohio. The daughter of the late Elton and Lucille (Haas) Crawford. Carol received her education from Sherwood High School and graduated with the Class of 1966. On February 13, 1971, Carol married her soulmate, Barry E. Miller. The loving couple shared 54 marvelous years together.
Carol's life was a living testament to love, kindness, and compassion in their purest forms. A true Good Samaritan in every sense, she gave of herself freely and fully, always seeking to ease another's burden or brighten someone's day. Carol believed deeply that no act of kindness was ever too small, her joy came from lifting others up, offering help where it was needed, and giving freely from the heart.
Whether through quiet acts of service, thoughtful gestures, or ensuring someone had what they needed most, Carol's presence was a constant reminder of the goodness still found in humanity. Her door was always open, her hands always willing, and her heart always full.
Carol's legacy is one of love in action, of countless lives touched, burdens eased, and spirits uplifted. Those who knew her were blessed by her unwavering empathy and her ability to see the best in everyone.
Carol moved through this world as a quiet force for good. She gave without expectation, served without hesitation, and loved without condition. Her generosity knew no limits: if she saw a need, she met it; if she saw pain, she sought to heal it.
To know Carol was to witness genuine altruism. Her heart overflowed with empathy, her spirit radiated gentleness, and her faith in humanity never wavered. She often reminded others that the measure of a life is found not in what we have, but in what we give and by that measure, Carol's life was immeasurably rich.
Those who were blessed to cross her path will forever carry her example in their hearts. Her kindness has left footprints on countless lives: in the families she supported, the strangers she helped, and the friends she cherished so deeply.
The ripple of her kindness continues to spread through every person she helped, every friend she comforted, and every soul she inspired. Carol's light will never dim, for she gave so much of it away that it now lives on in us all.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Barry E. Miller; children: Chad (Sandy) Miller and Erika (Desiree Bakke) Miller; grandson: Dane Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her siblings: Lo is Anderson, Gene Crawford, and Mary Ann Crawford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to Joyce's Angels.
Services are being observed privately by the family.
