Carol Dell Nolting returned home to her loving family and Heavenly Father on August 26, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 17, 1937, in Greenville, Texas, to Joseph Lawrence Jr. and Miriam Kathryn Collins. She had two older brothers she simply adored, Joseph and Jerry Collins. She graduated from Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas, with a degree in Physical Education. Carol married Arthur G. Nolting and they had two children together, Carol Dianne and Michael Alan. She loved her family fiercely and completely, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them.

She is survived by her children Carol Dianne Nolting Wolter (George) and Michael Alan Nolting (Elaine), and her grandchildren Miriam Wolter, Joshua, Sarah, and Michael Nolting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and sister-in-law Betty.

Those who knew Carol will remember her for her love and faithfulness to the Lord, commitment to her family, singing, playing piano and ukelele, line dancing, and her deep love of nature and all things outdoors.
