October 7, 1946 - March 5, 2025
Carol Joanne Robertson, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, sadly left our world on March 5, 2025, at her home with her family at her side.
Born in Atlantic City, Carol was a dedicated physical education teacher who touched countless lives during her 32 years of service in the Egg Harbor Township School District before her retirement. Her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds was evident in everything she did, both in her professional life and at home with her family.
Carol was truly the heart of our family, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth and wisdom guided us through life's joys and challenges. She was always there with a hug, love, encouragement, or scolding - whichever was most appropriate. Her home was always filled with laughter and joy, her door always open to family and friends.
Carol loved to travel with her husband, visiting Hawaii and most countries in Europe throughout her life. She especially cherished summers spent at the beach with her family and friends (affectionately known as "the line"). These treasured beach days created memories that will be forever held in our hearts.
Carol's greatest joy came from her family gatherings, where she would beam with pride watching her grandchildren grow and play. Her gentle guidance and unwavering support created a legacy of closeness that will forever bind our family together.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, James and Catherine McGowan; and her brother James Jr. She is survived by her loving husband Don of 54 years; her children Donald and his wife Stephanie, Kimberly and her husband Michael; and her beloved grandchildren Ryan, Matthew, Elizabeth, and Michael; as well as her siblings and many adored nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ. A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service.
