Carol Ann Roth, 74, a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at her son’s home in West Palm Beach, Florida, under the care of hospice.
Born in Southfield, Michigan, to George and Loretta Young, Carol built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She married Albert (Al) Roth in 1970, and together they raised their family in Livonia, South Lyon, and Howell, Michigan, before she later relocated to Florida after her husbands passing in 2023.
Carol had a zest for life and a contagious laugh that brightened every room. She loved diamond painting, bingo, and playing the slots at the casino , but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. Over the past year at Brookdale Independent Living, she enjoyed making new friends and participating in community activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Loretta Young; her beloved husband, Albert (Al) Roth; and her sister, Diane Wolfe (Charlie). She is survived by her children, Jason Roth (Sarah), Michael Roth (Cindy), and Jessica Wade (Allen Lacey); her grandchildren, Benjamin Wade, Maggie Weisenauer (Dylan), who are the children of Brian and Jessica wade; and Ashlynd Roth; who is the Daughter of Jason and Sarah Roth; her sisters, Donna Hight (Rip) and Betty Goodrow (Craig); her brother, George Young (Lisa); and her cherished dog, Dexter.
Carol’s warmth, humor, and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a local hospice organization or a charity of one’s choice.
