Julie DeGasperis, a devoted wife, mother, geandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the age of 65. Julie was born on July 29, 1960.
Julie's life was characterized by love for her family and a commitment to helping others. While working in the medical field, she met the love of her life, Patrick DeGasperis, in the Bronx, New York. They shared a deep bond and were united in marriage on November 26, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Carmen Cortez; her sister, Debbie Cortez; and her brother, Raymond Cortez.
Julie's memory will be forever cherished by her loving husband, Patrick DeGasperis; and her children, Joseph Arenas, Christine Morales, and Anthony Morales. She was a proud and doting grandmother to ten grandchildren. She is also survived by three children gained through marriage, and nine additional grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Julie leaved behind two beloved aunts, Zoraida Ramirez, and Maria Rey, as well as two nephews, and two nieces. Her long-time, and cherished best friend, Paula, will also hold her memory dear.
Julie's warmth, strength, and un-wavering dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2025, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach.
