Carol Lee Royse, of Pauls Valley, passed away September 29, 2025 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years.

Carol Lee Carter was born October 6, 1955 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Luther Dalton and Mary Ruth Carter. She grew up and attended school in Guymon, Oklahoma, and furthered her education by earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and earning a minor in Accounting at West Texas A & M. She and Dale Royse were married in 1998 in Amarillo, Texas. They moved from Amarillo, Texas to make Pauls Valley their home in 2011. Carol was also a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) and worked in healthcare for many years. Carol worked at Community houses for several years. She also worked at the Garvin County Learning Center as a job coach and direct care person.

Carol enjoyed raising flowers as well as fishing, camping and interacting with people. She also loved animals, especially her dogs, Max and Ozzie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Dalton and Mary Ruth Carter; sister, Marilyn Royse; brother, Roy Carter; and a nephew, Dalton Carter.

Carol is survived by her husband, Dale Royse; five children, Toby Weschke and wife, Christy, Sondra Weschke, Tammy Rupprecht and husband, Jeremy, Chaz Royse, and Danny Royse, as well as her loving pets and best friends, Max and Ozzie; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Luther Carter and wife April, Tim Carter and wife, Rose, and David Carter and wife Dale.

Memorial services are pending at this time. Services for cremation are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. We invite you to send words of comfort to the family at www.stufflebeanfuneralhome.com.
