Carol Smart Obituary
Carol Ann Kline was born January 9, 1951, in Alpena to the late Edwin and Regina (Zmyslony) Kline. On November 26, 1975, she married Robert Smart. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2016. Carol enjoyed gardening flowers and being outside in her yard. She especially enjoyed spending time with grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Stacie (Josh Olson) Nielsen; three grandchildren, Isabella, Connor, Jaide; four siblings, Catherine (Howard) Carpenter, Dan (Grace Ann) Kline, Cheryl (Dave) Bauer, Fred (Maria) Kline; special friends, Jessica (Nick) Koss, Mary (Bill) Garant; several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Smart and brother, Tom Kline.
Private graveside service has taken place. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
