Carol L. (Steele) Baldauf, 79, of Slickville, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at home.

Born on December 5, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Bruce Steele Sr. & Freida L. (Shirley) Steele.

Carol was a 1963 graduate of Saltsburg High School. She worked as the owner/operator of Carol's Ceramics in Slickville; she also helped run the Baldauf Tree Farm in Black Lick.

Carol was a member of St. Sylvester Roman Catholic Church in Slickville. She enjoyed painting, sewing, quilting, and working on crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Steele Jr.

Carol is survived by her husband of 42 years, Craig A. Baldauf; daughter, Stephanie B. (Dan Tack) Molyneaux of Saltsburg; sister, Colleen (Russell) Dionisi of Blairsville; granddaughter, Alexandra Molyneaux of Brookline; grandson, Shane Molyneaux of Indiana; her niece, Jennifer; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 3:00 until the hour of the blessing service at 5:00 pm in Curran Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 701 Salt Street, Saltsburg with Father John Corbett officiating. Private interment in Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg.
