Carol Ann Worman, age 87, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. Born on February 12, 1938, in Wilmington, Ohio, she was cherished by all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and joy.
Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Herbert and Helen "Lucille" Spencer. Her loving spirit was greatly influenced by her early years, surrounded by family and the values instilled in her by her parents. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Jones, and her nephew, Craig Jones, who both played significant roles in her life. Their memories remain etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
Carol is lovingly survived by her sister, Kay (Ken) Adams. She took great pride in her family, particularly in her nieces, Wendy (Mitch) Jones and Terri (Mike) Dennewitz, who brought her endless joy and laughter. The love she had for her great-nieces—Amber (Darren) Johnson, Kristin (Craig) Mast, Ashley Winters, Monica Dennewitz, and Jacqueline (Jeremy) Lovitt—as well as her great-nephew, Sean Adams, was immeasurable.
Carol's bond with her lifelong best friend, Emily Madden, showcased the deep connections she fostered throughout her life. Their friendship was a testament to her loyalty and devotion, as they shared countless memories filled with laughter and love.
Known for her fun-loving and hard-working nature, Carol embraced life with open arms. She had an infectious personality, always ready to share kindness with those around her. Her generosity of spirit shone brightly in every interaction, and she had a unique ability to find humor in the mundane, bringing smiles to many faces. With a deep appreciation for all things that sparkled and glittered, she injected a little bit of magic into everyday life.
As we reflect on her vibrant existence, we remember a woman who loved deeply and lived fully. Carol will be deeply missed by her family and friends, whose lives she touched with her warmth and wit.
Per Carol's wishes, a dignified cremation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, honoring her spirit and the memories she leaves behind.
