Carol Ann Piersanti Zielinski, age 58 passed away on December 19, 2022 in Sommerdale, NJ.
A light has left this world that cannot be replaced. Carol was a kind human being and a loving wife and daughter. Carol was born in New Brunswick, NJ on April 17th to Nicholas and Ann Piersanti. She attended South River High School and graduated in 1982. Carol attended Ryder University and graduated with a bachelor's degree of Science in Business. Throughout her career she enjoyed running numerous charity events. Carols career spanned decades at GE, Equity One and Enterprise Rentals.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Steve Zielinski of Jobstown, NJ and an assortment of animals that she adored. Also surviving Carol is her mother, Ann Piersanti of South River; her brother Robert Piersanti, his wife Jill and their Kira Piersanti of Asbury Park; her sister Kathleen Piersanti of Milltown and her children Kira Collins and Jill Lawnick; and her sister Cynthia Mellios, her husband Tucky from Spottswood and their children Nicholas Mellios, Troy Mellios and Ashley Hollander. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Nicholas Piersanti.
Everyone will miss Carol in their own way. We wanted to share that Carol felt strong enough about organ donation, to be an organ donor. If you wish to honor Carol please consider doing the same.

Myself and Ava and our whole family will miss Carol Very much. I have been lifelong friends with Carol and Steve and when a friend such as her dies, a piece of us dies with her. Carol is now unquestionably at peace and sitting with Mars by her side in the embrace of the Lord.
Carol will be Sorely missed.
