Mary Anna Tramontana, 83, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Born in Uniontown, PA, she was a longtime resident of Elizabeth. Mary Anna was a retiree of Elizabeth Public School system, where she was a science teacher for many years. She received a BS from Rider College and an MT from the former St Francis School of Medical Technology. She was a constant gardener. In retirement, Mary Anna became a Union County Master Gardener and President of the Elizabeth Garden Club. She also was an active volunteer at the Hope Chest in Westfield.

Daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Wozniak; she is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years Emanuel F. Tramontana; her beloved children Janine Tramontana (Gareth Old) and Michaela Didonna; her loving grandchildren Lia Hope Didonna and Emily Rose Didonna; her sister Alexandra Wozniak and her brother Frank Wozniak; as well as her nephews, many cousins and long time friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

The visitation for Mary Anna will be held on Tuesday morning from 10-11AM at the funeral home.
