Carole S. Cook of Waukesha, died on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the age of 85 years. She was born in West Allis to George and Frieda (nee: Dolenshek) Ossmann. On May 11, 1957 she married Dwayne Cook, he preceded her in death on June 28, 2001. Carole enjoyed snowmobiling and was a founding member of the Waukesha Roadrunners Snowmobile Club. After her husband retired she went back to work as the lunch-lady at Rose Glen Elementary School. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is the dear mother to Sheryl (Jan Hershey) Cook, Paul (Maria) Cook, Todd Cook. Proud grandmother of Evan Cook and Stephanie Cook. She is further survived by her sisters Elaine (Werner) Schmidt, Donna (the late Richard) Weinfurt and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at The Frame Park Rotary Building,1150 Baxter Street Waukesha, WI 53186 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Private family burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery. If desired memorials to Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter, 620 S.76th Street Milwaukee, WI 53214 are appreciated.
