Carole Louise Ealey, 92, of Ballwin, passed away on August 1, 2025.
She was born on November 6, 1932 to Clifton Ray and Mary Elizabeth (Phillips) Cox at Alton, IL. Carole worked as a Service Rep. for State of Illinois. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cake decorating. She was known as the "Cake Lady".
On July 5, 1952, she married Russell Dean Ealey in Alton, IL. Carole and Russell lived in Godfrey, IL. He preceded her in death in 2000.
Carole is survived by her daughters, Denise (Charles) Robinson of Allentown, PA, Cynthia (Tom) Noble of Ballwin, MO; 5 grandchildren, Heather (Jeff) Schweizer, Allison (Chris) Stezin, Mary (Brandon) Sonne, Amanda Carver, and Laura (Chris) Stockdale; 10 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Bridget, Olivia, Madelyn, Ethan, Tyler, James, Dondo, Zeke, and Naomi; half-sister, Patricia Day from Atlanta, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held Monday on August 4, 202 9:00 am until time of service 10:00 am at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Homes - Godfrey, Illinois.
Burial will take place in the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of one's choice.
