Carole Louise Rainer, 73, passed into eternal rest on June 16, 2025, leaving a legacy of love, kindness, and brilliance. Born to Glenna and Gilbert Brewer in Waddell, Idaho, Carole's quiet determination and sharp mind led her to become a distinguished microbiologist. As an embryologist at the University of Washington, she touched countless lives, helping women fulfill their dreams of motherhood. Her work reflected her deep compassion and dedication to others.
Carole's heart was as vibrant as her mind. She found joy in nature's beauty, the arts, and creative pursuits like quilting, beadwork, and jewelry making. Her quirky spirit made her endlessly fascinating, drawing people into her gentle, kind orbit. A devoted mother to her sons, Tyler and Thomas, and stepson Jefferson, Carole's love extended to her 11 cherished grandchildren: Aspen, Cash, Ada, Otto, Til, Cayson, Kessley, Payten, Noah, Brady, and Autumn. She delighted in their laughter and nurtured their dreams.
Carole treasured her brothers, Thomas, John, and Steve, sharing a bond of love and memories. Above all, her greatest love was her husband of 44 years, James. They were soulmates, inseparable through life's joys and trials, their devotion a beacon of God's grace. James finds comfort in the promise of their reunion in eternal paradise.
Carole's life reflected the promise of John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Her faith in God's unending love now carries her into eternity.
She is survived by her husband James, sons Tyler, Thomas, stepson Jefferson, brothers Thomas, John, and Steve, and her beloved grandchildren. Carole's legacy of love will forever inspire those who knew her.
