Caroline Kennedy Obituary
Caroline Sue Holt Kennedy, 81, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away March 4, 2024. She was born November 16, 1942, in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late Andrew and Vera Holt.
Caroline is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James A. Kennedy, Sr. and her sister, Joy Gibbs. She is survived by her sons, James A. Kennedy, Jr. (Joy) and Andrew Kennedy (GraceMarie); granddaughter, Kara Marie Kennedy; siblings, Thomas Holt, Bill Holt, and Ronnie Holt; and a host of family and friends.
She retired after 27 years with Southwestern Bell as a customer representative and still has her landline to this day! She was known by her family and friends as a lovely lady with a gentle spirit.
Visitation will be from 2:00PM-4:00PM on Sunday, March 10 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107). A graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Jacksonville. Guests are invited to lunch at Shotgun Dan's Pizza in Sherwood after the service from 12:30 - 2:30.
