Caroline Donna Neck

Caroline D. Neck, 90, of New Richmond, formerly of Chetek, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
Caroline was born November 28, 1932, in the Town of Chetek to Louis and Edna (Slayton) Freberg
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Nate) Moe of New Richmond, granddaughter Allison Hamholm (Justin Claussen) of Chetek and special son, Brian Hamholm of Chetek
Caroline was a factory worker most of her life, but after retirement worked in the Chetek High School office and enjoyed it very much
Caroline was known for her pickled beets, beautiful crocheted doilies, quick wit and infectious laugh. You could always catch "Granny" playing solitaire or working on a puzzle. She was a member of Chetek VFW Auxiliary Post 10331
Other survivors include: LeRoy Briggs of Bruce, Charlene (Larry) Klawiter of Chetek, Linda (Ray) Chapek of Eau Claire, Carmen Briggs of Chetek, Faith Wellington of Boyceville, grandchildren and great grandchildren
Preceded in death by son, Dennis Garrow, parents, step-father Mervin Hanson, siblings, husband Glen Briggs and Vane Neck
Memorial services are pending for a later date.
Internment to be at the Dallas Cemetery.
