Caroline B. (Salvagno) Reppi of Liverpool departed this life peacefully on August 2, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on January 21, 1939, Caroline lived a life marked by quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the cherished wife of the late Dominick Reppi. Caroline was adamant on ensuring her unwavering love and care towards her grandchildren. So much so that she ended every phone call with "I love you more to the moon and back ditto!"
Prior to retirement, Caroline over saw the kitchen operations at the Everson Museum. She was the head waitress for many years for Peter Koulors at his many downtown restaurants: Pete's Luncheonette, The Vanderbilt Deli, Sparta Restaurant. Caroline found joy in hosting family parties. Nothing made her happier than being surrounded by the people she loved. A woman of spirit and adventure, Caroline enjoyed trips to the casino where she loved playing slot machines.
Caroline is predeceased by her parents, Lodovicho Salvagno and Caroline DeMarchi Zimmerman; her husband, Dominick Reppi; brother, Lodovicho "Lud" Salvagno; and sisters, Marion Miller and Yolanda Herbert.
Caroline is survived by her children, Roxanne Reppi of Detroit, MI; David (Keely) Reppi of Liverpool, NY; and Lisa Whittier of Mexico, NY; grandchildren, Jasmine Rainbow, Nickolas Reppi, Taylor Whittier, Charles Whittier, Dominique Whittier; great grandsons, Anthony and Angelo.
Caroline will be remembered not only for the love she gave but for the strength she showed, and the legacy she leaves behind in her children and grandchildren.
A private celebration of her life will be held on August 7, 2025. Caroline will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Syracuse NY.
