Caroline Schexnider Obituary

Caroline was a sister, mother, friend and most importantly the treasured Mimi to her beloved grand-dog, Kai Grace. Caroline spent 31 years of her working career in banking. Retirement allowed her to spend time doing the things she enjoyed like her love of baking, decorating and making friends wherever she went.
She is preceded in death by her father, Reed Schexnider; mother, Agnes Schexnider; brother, Kenneth Schexnider and twin brother; Carroll Schexnider, all of Kaplan, LA.
She is survived by her daughter, Trish Henry; sister, Roberta Touchet of Kaplan; sister Rhonda Schexnider Landry, of Gueydan; along with her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
The family is especially grateful for the Southern Grace Hospice team's commitment to her comfort and well-being, allowing her to remain at home and surrounded by her family.
Following Caroline's wishes no services are being held at this time.
